Looks like this tthing mught die a real quick death...I'll post a lil to try & keep it going.

I find the humor similar to that in Confederacy of Dunces. Both books have characters saying/doing absurd things, and then make them even funnier by having other characters react to these absurdities as if they were totally normal. While absurd, these are phrases one could easily hear said in everday interactions between people who don't think about what they say, it's just that these books shed light on them to illuminate their humor. That's why it's so funny, CUZ IT'S TROO.
