a bit of crit

Just so it doesn't seem like I'm jacking off jaxx via the interweb, allow me to post my one criticism (so far): It's a little long. I may feel differently upon completion, but 400+ pages is a lot, especially for a first time novelist. One passage that seems like it coulda been trimmed was the part where the waiter tells his back story. I did laugh at the Gutenasen thing, but it didn't seem plausible that he'd launch into it so unprovoked. just my $0.02
